HR Manager

Location: Cranswick Country Foods, Preston, Hull

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified HR professional to join the Preston site in Hull. The role is responsible for the provision of an HR function for the business which collectively employs circa. 2000 staff, split between permanent and temporary workers. Working closely with the senior stakeholders of the site the HR Manager is responsible for the effective implementation of the HR Strategy on site.

Ideal candidates will have a strong and established background working within HR and hold a Level 7 CIPD qualification. The position would suit an HR Manager wanting to move in to a larger and more challenging role and we are looking for a talented candidate who will work with maintaining and reviewing HR policies and procedures that strike a balance between meeting the needs of the business, and fostering employee engagement through achieving an increased sense of value.

The role will involve:
* Developing HR plans for the site
* Working closely with the Senior Management team to identify and deliver key HR projects.
* Leading transformational changes on site
* Analysing KPI’s and identifying trends to provide HR interventions
* Developing HR policies and processes in line with the HR goals
* Providing advice on complex Employee Relations issues
* Responsibility for the recruitment of all personnel on site from taking the initial brief and managing the selection process through to overseeing the start date and probation period.
* Actively working to up skill line managers so they become increasingly confident and consistent through various methods
* Managing generalist HR cases as necessary (e.g. disciplinary hearings, performance management etc).
* Taking responsibility for job evaluation throughout the site, ensuring that all salaried positions have current job descriptions and work towards developing a performance management system for the site.
* Liaison with the Group L&D Manager to ensure that Training needs are implemented in a timely and efficient manner

Candidates will hold;
* Full membership to the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD)
* Strong IT skills
* A methodical and structured approach.
* Will be Degree qualified or the equivalent relevant experience.
* Have experience of providing support to Managers in a coaching capacity, thereby empowering them to be increasingly self-sufficient in the future.

National Account Manager

Location: Lazenby's, Hull

Vacancies have arisen for National Account Executives at our Yorkshire Baker site and within the fresh pork operations at Lazenbys. The roles are in place to support the National Account Managers in delivering sales and marketing plans for two of our key retail customers. The roles will include forecasting, managing promotional activity, sales analysis, relationship development and identification of future growth opportunities.
