The family run business, originally based near Keighley was renamed ‘Cranswick Gourmet Bacon Company’ following it's acquisition. It has recently moved to new a new multi-million pound production site at Sherburn-in-Elmet near Leeds, West Yorkshire. The name and brand Jack Scaife, however, will remain for the future and will continue to be used by some leading retailers who remain committed to the respected brand.

The Sherburn factory incorporates some of the most modern machinery and equipment including a state of the art air drying facility to further enhance the flavour and eating experience.

Products have the benefit of not shrinking when cooked, since moisture has already been removed in the dry curing process. Nothing further is added or injected.
